Charleston Wine and Food Festival Going on Now!
The annual Charleston Wine and Food Festival returns this year from March 3rd- 6th. Wine tastings, cooking classes and shows, sommelier competitions, and gala events will be taking place throughout the downtown area. The festival is a recognized non-profit organization aiming to promote Charleston’s culinary industry and raise funds for an array of charities.
A wine and food event like no other, this festival provides guests the opportunity to meet and get a taste of some of the country’s best chefs, authors and wine professionals. Guests can educate their palates with Southern cuisine and the Lowcountry’s unique food styles, heritage and recipes at one of the 50+ events throughout the weekend.
Hailed as one of the top five food and wine festivals in the nation by Forbes Traveler, the festival will feature hundreds of culinary experts from around the globe, as well as highly acclaimed local chefs such as Sean Brock (McCrady’s, Husk), and Mike Lata (FIG).
