On Thursday, June 17  at 6:30 pm, some of the biggest names on the Charleston culinary scene will be teaming up with kids for the Big Chef Little Chef Challenge.  Their goal is to create recipes for health living.  The event benefits Louise’s Kids and is focused on teaching kids that local food can be prepared in a healthy yet delicious way.  The event will go down Iron Chef style at the Lowndes Grove Plantation.

Some of the chefs participating include Marvin Woods from Turner South, Michelle Weaver from Charleston Grill and Marc Collins of Circa 1886.  Musical entertainment is provided by Hank Futch of the Blue Dogs.  For more information or to purchase tickets, go to the Louise’s Kids website!
